This fall, We All Rise youth participated in a unique creative experience in partnership with The Photo Opp and the Northeast Wisconsin Land Trust — a Youth Photowalk at the Wequiock Creek Natural Area in Green Bay.
During the photowalk, youth explored the preserve with professional photographers, learning to see nature through both an artistic and ecological lens. They captured images of landscapes, plants, and wildlife while engaging in conversation about storytelling, perspective, and belonging in natural spaces.
The collaboration was inspired by an invitation from the Northeast Wisconsin Land Trust’s annual Land Fest event, which celebrates conservation, access, and community connection to the land. For our youth, it became an opportunity to explore creativity, environmental awareness, and healing in motion.
The photos taken during the walk will be professionally developed at The Photo Opp studio and shared in an upcoming community showcase.
We’re deeply grateful to The Photo Opp, Northeast Wisconsin Land Trust, and our partners at People of Progression for helping make this experience possible — and to our youth, whose images remind us how powerful it is to see the world through new eyes. 📸🌿
