September 2026 Community Resource Center Wish List
As we move into fall, our September Wish List is focused on helping us keep the Community Resource Center stocked with everyday essentials for survivors and families accessing support through We All Rise.
Since October 1, 2025, 818 individuals have walked through our doors, each with their own needs, circumstances, and responsibilities.
Some are caring for themselves. Some are raising children or supporting partners, parents, and other loved ones. Some are rebuilding after a crisis, while others are working toward greater stability one day at a time.
That means when someone asks whether we have deodorant, shampoo, menstrual products, a phone charger, or something to eat, the need doesn't always stop with the person standing in front of us. Sometimes they're thinking about what they need to bring home, too.
That's why keeping our shelves stocked matters.
Sometimes care begins with something as simple as being able to say, “Yes, we have that.”
Keeping Everyday Care Within Reach
Our Community Resource Center is one part of a much larger network of support at We All Rise. Our work can include advocacy, safety planning, emotional support, housing assistance, transportation, culturally rooted healing, connections to community resources, and the everyday practical support that helps someone navigate what comes next.
Having basic necessities readily available gives our team another way to meet people where they are.
It means someone doesn't have to navigate another system or explain why they need something as ordinary as toothpaste, deodorant, or shampoo. It also gives us the ability to offer products that reflect the people and families we serve, including culturally relevant personal and hair care items.
This September, we're asking our community to help us replenish those supplies and keep everyday care within reach.
