The Black Maternal Health Technician is a by-and-for position that assesses the strengths and needs of Black pregnant and parenting folks and families with infants, determines service needs, and provides information, connections, and linkages to a continuum of community services based on strengths and needs. Receive general family and social histories from parents and provide referral information. These visits are conducted in the hospital and/or at other birthing locations. Pay starts at $25/hour. The position includes paid time off (sick time, mental health time, and vacation time) and insurance (medical, life, dental, and vision).
