November 2026 Community Resource Center Wish List
As November brings colder weather to Northeast Wisconsin, our Community Resource Center Wish List is focused on keeping everyday essentials, warm comforts, and practical supplies available for survivors and families accessing support through We All Rise.
Between July 1 and September 30, 2026, 422 individuals received services through our victim assistance program, including 105 people accessing our services for the first time.
Behind those numbers are people navigating different circumstances, responsibilities, and paths toward safety and stability.
Some are seeking support after experiencing violence or harm. Some are navigating housing instability, financial hardship, or complicated systems. Others are caring for children, supporting loved ones, or working toward healing while managing everyday responsibilities.
And for many, these experiences overlap.
Our team provides advocacy, counseling, safety planning, housing assistance, transportation support, culturally rooted healing, and connections to community resources.
But sometimes, alongside those larger services, someone also needs toothpaste, something to eat, a bottle of water, or simply a warm cup of coffee.
That's why keeping everyday essentials within reach matters. 💛
The Everyday Work of Showing Up
During the July–September reporting period, our victim assistance program provided 2,661 individual advocacy services, 745 individual counseling services, and 621 referrals to additional services, supports, and resources.
These numbers reflect the ongoing work of helping people navigate challenges, access support, and move toward greater stability.
And that work happens in spaces that need to be maintained, supplied, and ready to welcome people every day.
Paper towels. Coffee cups. Hygiene products. Ready-to-eat meals. Garbage bags.
They're ordinary items, but they help make the everyday work possible.
Having these supplies available means our team can focus on supporting the person in front of them while also responding to practical needs as they arise.
It's one more way we work to create an environment where people are met with dignity, compassion, and care.
What We're Asking for This November
Our November Wish List focuses on three areas that help us maintain a welcoming, responsive Community Resource Center.
Immediate Survivor Needs
As temperatures begin to drop, we're looking to replenish items that support everyday personal care and comfort.
This includes hand warmers, toothpaste, deodorant, coffee, coffee creamer, body wash, and shampoo.
Something as simple as having hand warmers available on a cold Wisconsin day can offer a little comfort. Having personal-care products ready means someone can access what they need without another appointment, referral, or trip to the store.
These aren't extraordinary requests.
They're everyday necessities, and we want to be able to say, “Yes, we have that.”
Program & Space Needs
Some of the most important supplies in a community resource center are the ones people rarely notice.
Paper. Paper towels. Garbage bags. Paper plates. Spoons. Coffee cups.
These items help our team maintain shared spaces, offer refreshments, support daily programming, and keep the Resource Center functioning.
They may not be the first things people think about when considering a donation, but they're part of what allows us to keep showing up consistently.
A welcoming space takes more than good intentions. It takes the everyday resources needed to care for that space and the people who use it.
Equipment & Special Needs
We're also requesting ready-to-eat meals, individually wrapped snacks, water bottles, a mini fridge, and an ice maker.
Food and water can be especially important when someone is spending time accessing services, meeting with an advocate, or navigating a difficult day.
Having convenient options available allows us to offer something immediately, without requiring additional preparation or creating another barrier.
Equipment like a mini fridge and ice maker can also help us maintain a more functional, comfortable space for the people accessing our services.
These are practical investments in our ability to respond to everyday needs.

Thank You for Helping Us Stay Ready
Community care doesn't always look like a grand gesture.
Sometimes it looks like a package of paper towels, a box of snacks, a bottle of shampoo, or a supply of hand warmers waiting on the shelf when someone needs them.
Each contribution helps us maintain a space where survivors and families can access practical support alongside advocacy, healing, and opportunities for greater stability.
And as we move into another Wisconsin winter, we're grateful for the people who help us keep that care within reach.
Thank you for helping us continue to show up, stay prepared, and say, “Yes, we have that.” ❤️🖤💚
