July 2026 Community Resource Center Wish List

Every day, the We All Rise: African American Resource Center Community Resource Center provides culturally rooted advocacy, crisis support, safety planning, essential resources, and pathways to healing for survivors and families across Northeast Wisconsin. Whether someone is walking through our doors for the first time or continuing their journey toward safety and stability, our goal is to ensure they are met with dignity, compassion, and practical support.

July Program Snapshot

This month, we have seen an increase in survivors and families seeking immediate access to basic necessities while receiving services. One area of greatest need is our Hygiene Closet, which has been depleted much faster than anticipated. We are currently out of toothpaste and running critically low on several other personal care items that survivors rely on when they first connect with our team.

We have also seen more survivors share that they and their loved ones do not have reliable access to food. As a result, ready-to-eat meals, snacks, coffee, and other pantry items have become an increasingly important part of how we respond to immediate needs. Having these items available allows survivors to focus on meeting with an advocate, creating a safety plan, or accessing resources without worrying about where their next meal will come from.

This month's wish list reflects the supplies our team is using every day to respond to these immediate needs while maintaining a welcoming, supportive environment for everyone who walks through our doors.

How You Can Help
