Rachel leads the strategic operations, financial systems, and human resources efforts at We All Rise with clarity, care, and purpose. As a former organizer turned infrastructure architect, she designs systems that reflect the agency’s values—liberating, efficient, and trauma-informed. Her work ensures the organization remains compliant, sustainable, and mission-aligned across all areas of operation. With every policy, process, and spreadsheet, Rachel channels a deep commitment to collective healing and transformative justice.
Rachel's Story
Rachel Westenberg (she/her) is the Director of Finance and Operations at We All Rise: African American Resource Center. A former community organizer and current systems strategist, Rachel has spent over a decade weaving together relationships, structure, and purpose to drive justice-rooted change.

Born and raised in Green Bay, WI, Rachel’s early organizing work helped shape her understanding of power, community, and systems. She now channels that experience into building financial and operational frameworks that are not only effective, but liberating. For Rachel, spreadsheets and policies are sacred tools—when crafted with intention, they can become vessels for equity, sustainability, and collective care.

Her leadership is grounded in a simple spiritual truth: when we show up for the least of these, we are all transformed. As a white woman working within a Black-led, culturally specific agency, Rachel sees her journey in aspiring anti-racist allyship as inseparable from her own healing. She understands that true freedom is collective, and that liberation is as much about systems as it is about the soul.

Rachel believes that operational work is justice work—and while her spreadsheets are color-coded, conditional-formatted, and admittedly a little overachieving, her purpose is rooted in something far deeper: building the kind of infrastructure that allows us all to thrive.

In all she does, Rachel seeks to honor creativity as a tool for transformation. Through her LLC, Radical Lover Creative, she extends that mission—crafting content strategies and storytelling frameworks that help individuals and organizations lead with authenticity, vision, and heart.
