Jasmine supports students in breaking through barriers to education with care, cultural fluency, and strategic advocacy. As Education & Outreach Coordinator, she works one-on-one with community members navigating GED, HSED, and upskilling programs—helping them access resources, stay engaged, and achieve their academic goals. With a background in K-12 education, social work, and adult instruction, Jasmine brings deep experience and an unwavering belief in the power of education to transform lives. Her work centers equity, healing, and the truth that every learner deserves to thrive.

Jasmine's Story

Jasmine Kelly (she/her) was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. Jasmine’s devoted passion begun early-on as she began her career in social services and education. In 2016, Jasmine graduated with a Bachelor of Art’s degree in Education from Mount Mary University in Milwaukee. In 2019, Jasmine earned a Master of Science degree in Cultural Foundations of Education and Community Engagement and a graduate certificate in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. From then to now, Jasmine’s devotion for education continues as she inspires for adult learners to reach their academic achievement goals through education and self-advocacy.

To continue, Jasmine’s career experience includes over 5 years of social service and education experience through the State of Wisconsin. Jasmine begun her career in education in the K-12 system with Milwaukee Public Schools. Her social services career also began shortly after, as Jasmine served as an Initial Assessment Social Worker with the Department of Children and Families. Jasmine also has prior experience in child care administration with the State of Wisconsin-Bureau of Early Care and Regulation. Recently, Jasmine transitioned to adult education by serving as an adult basic education instructor for the State of Wisconsin’s Department of Corrections and now, with Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in partnership with We All Rise.

Jasmine enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time with family and friends, and learning. Jasmine’s passion includes encouraging others to become their best selves through education empowerment.
