Juneteenth Rally

FRIDAY JUNE 19TH

In 2020, 155 years later, and in the face of police brutality, the prison industrial complex, and continuing racial injustice, this Juneteenth comes with an even more impactful message.

Join us this Juneteenth, a day historically meant to celebrate freedom, even though we're still fighting for it. This protest is to be held in Black love, light and solidarity✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿

We are organizing activities for all ages such as a community Volleyball game , A 5x5 Cash Prize Basket Ball game ( ages 18+ due to Cash prize interferes with High School Players eligibility , each player pays $5 , winning team splits the cash), Double Dutch, Hula Hoop, R&B Music , Kickball , Soft ball and local black businesses/vendors will be selling their products. Their will be speakers, and performances. Families are encouraged to bring their own grills, food and snacks.
At 3pm a β€œ Mr.Officer β€œ performance will be held !

**This rally will also encourage attendees to follow CDC guidelines of wearing masks and 6 feet social distancing.**

5x5 Basketball and Baseball Games

We will be having a 5-on-5 tournament for East vs West side 16 and older teams. The pot could near $1000 depending on how many teams sign up. $5  per person to enter the game only- one sub!

Family Games and Activities

There will be many different family and kid activities. The following activities will be available:

  • Face Painting

  • Dodgeball
