DENA WILLIAMS
Lead Advocate
Dena Williams is currently working at We All Rise AARC as our Supervisor of Direct Services. Dena also worked at Reach Counseling Services as the Anti-Trafficking advocate in Neenah Wisconsin as well as a weekend overnight advocate at Harbor House in the Fox Valley. Her expertise when working with self-identified Black/African American clients focuses on critical race theory and racial battle fatigue. She currently co-facilitates the Black Girls Healing Group in the Fox Valley area and is a strong supporter for students of color and their experience as stewards in academia. She also facilitates a group for Black women in Appleton and Oshkosh Dena is also a member of the Attorney General SART (Sexual Assault Response Team) for Human Trafficking and Community Coordinated Response-Green Bay(CCR-GB). She is also a member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team Response to Child Sex Trafficking. Dena has worked with the District Attorney's office to help victims complete the Diversion Program. She has her certification in SAVAS (Sexual Assault Victim Advocacy School) and in the curriculum for Dismantling Racism. Her passion is working with people in the community as well helping support victims of Domestic violence and Sexual Abuse.
