I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist with a Doctoral Degree from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. I have been working in the field of psychology for over ten years in various settings including inpatient and outpatient settings. I serve children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I also enjoy facilitating therapy groups. I have a particular passion for working with marginalized and oppressed populations and helping clients improve their relationships, explore their feelings of shame, and heal their pain. My clinical interests and specialties include trauma, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, and childhood behavior problems. I want my clients to tell their story, express themselves fully, and lead more fulfilling lives. I believe in providing a safe, non-judgmental, and compassionate atmosphere where clients can explore and work through feelings, thoughts, and beliefs they have about themselves and others. I utilize an eclectic and dynamic approach to mental health based on the principles of client-centered therapy integrated with interpersonal and psychodynamic therapies.
Outside of my professional life, I have two wonderful children and spend much of my free time with them. I was born in Green Bay, WI and grew up in a small town south of Green Bay; therefore, this community is very important to me. I love reading, relaxing, and traveling. I have a strong interest in social justice advocacy and truly want to help make this World a better place for my children and my children’s children.
